"Thrust" largely characterizes the sound character of this trio. Martin Siewert (electric guitar, electronics) and Dieter Kern (drums) - both busy and esteemed players on the Viennese scene for years - as well as the creditable German pianist/composer Georg Graewe on the electronic organ create almost mind-blowing bursts of energy on "The Less You Sleep", grab you with unexpected sequences of movements, shine with a highly concentrated, highly condensed interplay.
